Purpose

The Beck Water Innovation Hub is designed to create lasting impact for both the water industry and regional communities. Its core purposes are:

  • Independent Training – Provide product agnostic education in water infrastructure, ensuring councils and consultants & contractors access best practice knowledge.
  • Upskilling Contractors – Build capability within local businesses so that skills and expertise remain embedded in regional communities.
  • Showcasing Technology – Act as a demonstration centre for emerging solutions, including ClevaControl and decentralised water systems.
  • Building Workforce Pipelines – Develop the next generation of water professionals, addressing an ageing workforce and closing skills gaps across the sector.

1. Safety and Compliance

  • Working with pumps, electrical safety.

  • Hands-on maintenance of packaged pump stations.

3. Pressure Sewer Systems

  • Technical training on installation and management of pressure sewer units.
