Overview:
Beck Water was engaged by Cobar Regional Council to deliver a complete design, supply, and construction solution for a dam transfer pump system. The project was critical to improving water reliability and distribution capacity within the Cobar water network.
Beck Water was responsible for the end-to-end delivery of the dam transfer system, including:
- Design of the intake pump station, discharge pipeline, and associated civil, mechanical, and electrical components.
- Selection and supply of pumps, valves, fittings, and controls to meet the required flow and head conditions.
- Construction and installation of the pump station and discharge line in compliance with Council specifications and relevant Australian Standards.
- Testing and commissioning to confirm hydraulic performance and ensure seamless integration with the existing water network.
